Update: I traveled for a year and then landed on the tiny tropical island of Saipan. I’ve lived here 6.5 years and I’m ready for the next adventure. This time starting in AUS to NZ to AUS then through SE Asia. This is the 3rd time I have sold and give away everything to travel and explore the world. Hello out there. I am 57 an relatively new to this way of traveling even though I have traveled a lot. I certainly could use a travel companion for advice and to share experiences with. Two or more is almost always better than one. I would prefer the companion to not be a smoker or a big drinker, since I am not one, but that could be worked around with the right person or couple.
